About Orlinda
Orlinda began as Crockers Crossroads and was renamed after the old name clashed with Tuckers Crossroads and a second choice with Centerville; Orlinda won because no other U.S. community used it. Its motto is “The Sunniest Spot in Tennessee,” and the Bank of Orlinda building from 1909 is now the public library.
