About Westmoreland
Westmoreland sits against the Kentucky line in Sumner County, named for a North Carolina lumberman and chartered in 1901. Its Little Tunnel, a rail tunnel about 45 feet long built in 1887, is claimed to be the shortest in the world, and a mural of it and other landmarks fills Town Square.
